To put the bike on hold, press the ‘hold’ button on the controller. You can also simply lock the bike first and then confirm using Hold in the mobile app - just remember you have only a several seconds after inserting the ubar.
Then, lock the bike to a bicycle rack by inserting the U-lock into the frame. Make sure the bike registers the hold and lit the yellow LED next to the 'Hold' button.
Your ‘hold’ time counts toward your daily time.
There is maximum time limit for the hold function (check your local program limits). If you exceed this time limit, the bike will go into a regular locked state and will be available for other users.
