To lock a Social Bicycle, remove the U-lock from the holster and insert it into the LockBox carefully until the bar clicks into place. Pull the U-lock back to make sure it is securely locked, and double check that the bike indicates it is ‘locked’ by blinking LEDs green. You can also check if the bike has register proper locking in the mobile app. If it is not properly locked, the controller will start beeping. Once you have securely locked the bike, the LEDs should blink green.
Always be sure to lock the bike to an approved fixed object (consult your local program rules).
